Dr Samuel Fosso Wamba is Full Professor at Toulouse Business School, Leiden University’s Centre for Science and Technology Studies, France. He earned his Ph.D. in industrial engineering at the Polytechnic School of Montreal, Canada. His current research focuses on business value of IT, inter-organizational systems adoption and use, supply chain management, electronic commerce, blockchain, artificial intelligence in business, social media, business analytics, big data and open data. Iztok Fister received a B.Sc, MEng and PhD in computer science from the University of Maribor, Slovenia. His areas of interest include Nature-Inspired meta heuristic algorithms - evolutionary computation, data mining, pervasive computing and sport science. Iztok has published more than 120 research articles in referred journals indexed in Web of Science with impact factor/Scopus, conferences and book chapters. Furthermore, he is a member of the editorial boards of 5 different international journals, and he has acted as program committee in more than 30 international conferences. He has served as a reviewer in more than 100 journals. Fister has also delivered more than 20 talks at different Universities and conferences in all over the world. He has attended several programmes including Science, Technology & Innovation Policy at the prestigious Harvard University, & certifications from the MIS Training Institute, Massachusetts, USA in Large Scale Computer Forensics, Incident Response; International Security in the Interconnected World & The Forum on Information Warfare; including certifications on Digital Forensics with Forensics Recovery Evidence Device (FRED) by Digital Intelligence, Inc., USA; Universal Forensic Extraction Device’ (UFED) by Cellebrite; and with Cyber Security Capability and Capacity Building certification by Cyber Security Malaysia. The NCS is calling for a special session proposal with a maximum of 5 papers and minimum of 3. The goal of the special session is to provide a discussion that is focus on new research areas related to the digital economy. The scholar intending to organize a special session should submit a proposal. The proposal should have the following content: title of the session, a very short description of the session focus, name of the chairs, goal, and topic of interest.
